Birds on a Wire! Learn a new and exciting way to use your Studio 180 Design Wing Clipper and Tucker Trimmer! Learn a variation of the Geese on Edge technique. Start with a simple square, add logs, add a goose, and repeat. There are lots of possible variations! Birds on a Wire pattern offers four different variations, and four sizes using the same technique and fabric. This technique is so fun, you will not be able to stop! Quilts can be made bigger by adding more blocks.
This is a fabulous Stash or Scrap Buster project! You can use mixed scraps, Fat Quarters, Fat Eights, etc. for the Bright Fabrics. Requires Studio 180 Design’s Wing Clipper™ and Tucker Trimmer I™.

Description:
Starflower Surprise combines the Starflower Block and the Beacon Star Block. Both Blocks are made with Deb Tucker’s latest tool, the Wedge Star! The Starflower blocks are made with multiple sets of two-tone bright colored fabrics, grouping like colorways of Dark and Light fabrics to create the Starpoints. Though, you could make all the flowers in the same set of two-tone fabrics or go completely scrappy! The Beacon Star is a combination of the Diamond Starpoints and Large Wedges. The Large Wedges should be made with a Light fabric, creating a circular shadow effect in the background.

A quick and easy summer Carpenter Star that is a great use for those scraps, charm squares, 6” Strips, layer cakes, fat quarters, or yardage you have been collecting. Six sizes included! All sizes are made with the same number of units; the size of the half square triangle units determines the size of the quilt.
For the most dramatic effect consider a Split-Complementary color plan, colors opposite each other on the color wheel, picking colors from the warm side (orange/pink) and then across to the cool side (blue/green). If you would prefer a more blended effect, consider a Complementary color plan (colors next to each other on the color wheel such as blue and green).

Description:
Moonlight Garden is an eye-catching display of Lemoyne Star and Straw Flowers set on a split two-toned background. The Lemoyne Star Flowers, made with Jelly Roll strips (2 ½” Strips) or yardage, come together easily using the Rapid Fire strip-piece method. The split two-toned background amongst the Straw Flowers creates a magnificent moonlight cascade throughout the quilt.
Moonlight Garden looks great on any color background fabric, the split-two toned background works best with high contrast between the two shades.

Periwinkle Swirl is inspired by Michelle’s spring gardens, where Periwinkle blooms can be found here and there, swirling around in the early April winds. The Swirl blocks create wonderful movement around the Periwinkle Blocks, generating a light and lively vibe, mimicking that fresh feeling of spring!
Whether you go with pastel or bright fabric, this quilt will look fabulous! Feel free to alternate the colors to make your own personal version, however be mindful of the suggested values to insure you obtain the fabulous movement. Periwinkle pattern offers four great quilt sizes and settings!

Description:
Featuring Michelle’s newly created Majesty Lemoyne Star! Michelle alternated this fabulous Majesty Lemoyne with the first block she remembers her Grandmother teaching her to make, the Log Cabin Block. The combination radiates stateliness, especially with the Empire Border!
The Bright fabrics in the Majesty Lemoyne Stars and Log Cabin blocks are created with strips from various vibrant Fat Eights or Fat Quarters. This quilt could as easily be made with yardage, half yards or strips of scraps! The Background can be made with yardage or you may elect to go scrappy, selecting assorted Scraps, Fat Quarters, or Half Yards, that are in a similar colorway (white on white, cream on ivory, black on black, etc.).
This quilt is extremely versatile, since the entire quilt is made with strips and is strip pieced! No Y Seams!

If you collect or love Fat Quarters, this is the quilt to make. You will make fabulous usage of Fat Quarters and it is perfect for any color background. The class will include step-by-step use for three tools as well as tips on piecing and proper pressing techniques to make this quilt perfect! Additionally, we will talk through the color selection and placement, plus ways to improve your general machine piecing. For the most sparkle, go with a high contrast between your background fabric and Fat Quarters. Michelle used a green accent fabric throughout her chain, you could elect any color but try to use your accent color minimally within the Fat Quarters, so that it pops!

This quilt pattern is now available as a standalone pattern and offered in 3 Quilt Sizes (Wall, Throw, and Double). Each size is made with the same number of units, just in 3 different size units (6in, 9in, or 12in)
You will learn to master 2 different types of Lemoyne Stars; Lemoynes as Triangles and Banded Lemoynes Star. This quilt would be fabulous with a dark background, or even a fabulous print in place of the Turquoise Triangles. You’ll master two techniques using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star! It's Electrifying!

Amusement is a fun and quirky quilt inspired by the Ferris Wheels found on the Amusement Piers, in New Jersey, where Michelle grew up. This pattern is made using Studio 180 Design's Tucker Trimmer® I, Wing Clipper® I and the Corner Pop® tools. Make this fabulous design without paper piecing!
You will use yardage for the background and accent (green), and for each Ferris Wheel you will use 3 values of one color. So, for example, if you decide to use red for one block, you’ll need a light red, a medium red, and a dark red. It’s up to you to decide how many different color Ferris Wheels you have in your quilt. Pattern offers Wall (4 Blocks), Throw (9 Blocks) and Twin (12 Blocks) sizes.

Michelle designed this interlocking quilt for Modern 180 Designs. Finley’s Fence features playful rings of interwoven colors, made up of Fat Quarters, to create this modern play on an Irish Links quilt. This playful quilt comes together easily with the help of Studio 180 Design’s Corner Pop™. Michelle’s inventive use of the Corner Pop™ makes this otherwise difficult angled/bias unit actually tons of fun to make.
The pattern list suggestions for the number of fat quarters, however the more fabric the better, 6 ½” strips of scrappy would work too!
The class will include step-by-step use of the Corner Pop™, as well as additional examples of how to use the Corner Pop™ to make your quilting life easier. Plus, tons of tips on matching points, squaring up your blocks and general machine piecing tips and tricks.

This class will push your creative side. You can use Deb Tucker’s new book for inspiration or just play. Michelle will cover some basics in color theory; learn methods for using color with confidence through audition, color wheel and other group color adventures. You will leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of the role of color in your quilts and with a renewed excitement about quilting. For this class, you will only need 8 Dark and 8 Light Fabrics. Feel free to bring more, to play and audition. Additionally, you will get tips on the best way to measure and piece your borders.

Get ready for a great new method for constructing traditional Lemoyne Star blocks. You'll be using strip piecing techniques, over-sizing units for easy trim down and no "Y" seams. Deb Tucker’s Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool is designed to give you the choice of 10 different size blocks that range from 3" finished to 12"finished. Our class project is a sampler of all the available size options so you'll get a chance to try them all and end up with a marvelous wall quilt.
