In the first of four Timeless with a Twist series, Michelle Renee Hiatt takes a closer look at 12 of the 48 Timeless Blocks. The blocks are inspired from newspaper clippings found in her Oma’s “under the bed box”, basically old newspaper and catalog clippings for the early 1900s through 1980. Michelle has taken the blocks and modernized the construction method to today’s times and streamlines the piecing process using her favorite Studio 180 Design tools.
Michelle provides a fresh perspective on each of these gorgeous blocks.

Inspired by Michelle’s love of Ohio Stars, Michelle has taken the basic Ohio Star Block and create 12 fresh blocks for her 2nd Technique Building Series (TBS).
This TBS looks really complicated but is made with basic units, some with a twist or pop here and there. Whether they are a beginner or advanced quilter, your quilters can jump in with no reservations and have fun with it.
